KOCO GEARED UP AND TOOK THE FIRST LOOK INSIDE AS THE LONG AWAITED DREAM STARTS TO TAKE SHAPE. WE’VE CONTINUED TO GROW ABOUT TEN TO ABOUT 15 TO 20% EACH YEAR, AND THAT’S WHY WE NEEDED THE BUILDING. NOW WE’RE GOING UP INTO THE OUTPATIENT CENTER. SOON THIS SPACE WILL MORE THAN QUADRUPLE THE OUTPATIENT CARE FOR KIDS IN OKLAHOMA. WE’RE IN THE NEW LANDMARK OF HOPE BUILDING. ONE OF THE THINGS THAT WE’RE SEEING IS MORE AND MORE KIDS ARE NEEDING MORE AND MORE OF OUR SPECIALIZED SERVICES, WHETHER THAT’S PEDIATRIC NEUROLOGY OR PHYSIATRY, WHICH IS A SPECIALIZED PHYSICAL MEDICINE AND REHABILITATION. WE WANT TO BRING KIND OF THAT ONE STOP SHOP FOR THOSE KIDS WHO NEED TO SEE MULTIPLE SPECIALTIES, AND SO THEY DON’T HAVE TO GO ALL OVER TOWN TO SEE THEIR TO MAKE THEIR DOCTOR’S VISITS. THE THEME OF THE OUTPATIENT CENTER IS ONE OF HOPE AND TRANSFORMATION. OUTSIDE WILL BE A FOUR STORY, COLORFUL CATERPILLAR THAT SHINES THROUGH THE NIGHT. INSIDE WILL BE A KALEIDOSCOPE OF BUTTERFLIES SEEN FROM MULTIPLE FLOORS. THIS IS ACTUALLY WHERE THE BIG BUTTERFLY SCULPTURE WILL GO. THE BIG BUTTERFLY SCULPTURE WILL FLY THROUGH THE SPACE RIGHT AS YOU COME IN. IT’S GOING TO BE A VERY ENGAGING PIECE. THIS WAS DONE WITH A LOT OF INTENTION. WE REALLY WANT TO MAKE SURE THAT IT IS DONE AT A AT A TOP NOTCH LEVEL.
