Mahatma Gandhi Diet Tips For Gen Z

Gandhi Jayanti is celebrated on October 2 to mark the birth anniversary of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, who was also known as Mahatma Gandhi. Gandhi was a lawyer and freedom fighter who led the way for India’s Independence movement. Mahatma was also someone who was extremely fit and healthy.

While in London, he was advised to eat meat by his friends but he refused to do so instead he chose to include different types of vegetables, lentils and pulses in his diet. In his book, “The Science of Being and Art of Living”, Gandhiji described his daily dietary habits. In the book, he also describes the “Gandhi diet plan” or “Brahmachari diet plan” that he followed.
